Well stocked with birds nice owner
Suggest you examine any bird carefully before buying from here. We were sold a cockatiel infested with lice, which we did not discover until we got her home. Took three treatment trips to the vet to get her clear. The bird was in a large cage with others so probably most of them were also affected.
Such a wide variety of birds from a budgie to a maccaw. Everything you need including cages, bird seed. parrot toys. Even medicine for your bird along with expert advice and friendly staff. Without a doubt the best bird shop for miles. There was a gentleman I spoke to who often visits the shop and he lives in Brighton. They even look after your bird while you are on holiday
We are novices but were very happy with the service we got. A nice range of beautiful birds that appeared to be well looked after. Also a good range of cages, accessories and feed options; prices all seemed very reasonable. We got good advice and the experience was pleasant and relaxed. I would certainly use them again and would happily recommend to others.
Customer service left a lot to be desired, asked if they could acquire a snowflake quail pair as they had none in, they got a pair in which was great and they looked good, said Id be able to pick them up the following weekend, upon arriving the next weekend one of the quail was heavily lame and couldnt move, was told it was normal and the quail sometimes get injured being stressed. Not a problem I get issues like this happen, I asked what discount theyd be able to do given one of the animals was now lame and I was taking it more out of pity as I couldnt leave it here, he said he could only do it at cost price so took 10 pounds off. However I was then treated with blunt grumpy service by members of staff as though I was being unreasonable for asking for a discount for what is effectively a faulty item??They also said Id be able to borrow a cat carrier for transporting the quail as it was a 2 hour drive, however they went back on this offer and said I couldnt have one to borrow and instead put both quail in a tiny cardboard box for the journey even though they knew it was a long journey in hot weather, thankfully I brought my own ice packs I could wrap up. All in all poor service and I definitely would not recommend to others, find other bird centres, this one wouldnt be hard to top.
