I've been a patient at Riley House for more years than I can recount, and while my experience has been mixed, overall I would say it isn't a good surgery. The GPs have improved in the past few years and I have no issue with them, but I a constantly moved from one to another and feel like I have never built a rapport with any of them. Waiting times are terrible and I have never been seen within a week unless I have been lucky enough to get a cancellation. My main issue with the surgery are the receptionists. They are rude, uninterested, curt, patronising, surly, miserable and unhelpful. I understand that it must be a trying, thankless job and I realise that some of the patients they deal with can be very difficult and irate but that's not an excuse to treat every single patient with contempt. I am looking into changing surgeries after all this time as I cannot deal with them any more.
Rubbish surgery and dumb receptionists, taken them over a week to get a form signed then tried lying to me on top of that.They also refused me for being a few minutes late but its fine I have to wait ages past my time to see a doctor or a nurse or when the morons turn up late themselves.Avoid this dive all together. Dont trust them with your life
I unfortunately dont have a good enough grasp of the English language to describe how s**t the reception staff are at this surgery. Lazy, uninterested, barely able to speak English and completely incompetent! When youre lucky enough to get an appointment, (guaranteed to be after a 7 day + wait) its a different locum on each occasion. Nursing staff slightly better but one delightful woman (with a North American accent) was dressed like she was lounging around at home and swore during my appointment! Im no shrinking violet but you expect a degree of professionalism from medical staff. I couldnt be happier to have left this surgery, following a house move but guess what? Theyve managed to get it wrong sending a list of two.. yes TWO repeat prescriptions to my new place! I mean, how difficult can that actually be? Ive just come off the phone for the 2nd time this week, having called on Wednesday and also sent two emails to try and resolve this but the response? Youre not showing as being a patient here. Arghgh! Ive just been promised by the receptionist that shell pass the details to the person who deals with the prescriptions when she comes in and theyll call me straight away. I wont be holding my breath! Utterly useless... AVOID if at all possible!
Probably the worst doctors surgery in Enfield. Doesnt even deserve 1 star! The receptionists are foul & have never heard of patient confidentiality and like to blurt out your problems in a busy waiting room! Doctors are useless. Can never get an appointment & if your lucky enough to get one it will be in a months time, and when you turn up for your appointment that you have waited so long for they tell you that YOU got the time wrong and that you missed your appointment blaming their mistake on yourself and belittling you. Avoid this doctors!
