I bought a black Jaguar Xtype from Highstone Car Company it has been brilliant. Their knowledge of Jaguars is amazing and the car was presented in first class condition. They are really helpful and could not do enough for me ! Highly recommended !

I spoke to the manager/owner from Highstonea couple of times about an X type for sale with 35k on the clock at 6899, as advertised on their website. To be fair he was very helpful and enthusiastic about Jags and I really liked his video demonstration of that one and other cars. He promised to call me with the registration so I could check the insurance but failed to do so. When I called him back he apologised for failing to provide the details but told me the car was now sold. I asked him to call me if the sale fell through as I was very interested. I have heard nothing since. I note however the car is still for sale on the website sometime later.The good news however is that I have managed to pick up an S type from Sussex with slightly higher mileage in immaculate condition for over 2k cheaper than the X type I was looking to buy from Highstone.Having heard the passion for Jaguars when I contacted Highstones I am sure there is a good service laying dormant but sadly it did not quite do it for me, although I was impressed with the passion for Jags and the potentially good service offered such as offering you a lift from the tube station etc.As I have since bought an S type from a dealer in Sussex which was 2k cheaper than the X type I was trying to buy from Highstone cars I suppose I should be happy.......However I would have happily bought a car from this company so I guess it is an easy sale lost.......I do however sense they are a pretty good company if you want a used Jag although it did not work for me..........
