Amazing pub. We tend to come here every summer on our way to gardening centres. Probably one of the best places to come if youre on your way to get some gardening stuff.One drawback that has a huge space for improvement - garden. Its massive yet they only have a few massive tables. I remember last year (i believe) they had more than what they have now. Guess they were removed.
Biggest attraction of this pub for us was the fact you could take your dog inside. A rare occurrence in UK unfortunately. The down side was the food wasn't that good and by the time we arrived at 6.30pm, most of the menu items had sold out and we're no longer available. This included mains as well as desserts. Staff though we're very friendly and amiable.
It's a yearly tradition that mum, my fiancee and I have. We walk around all the garden centres and at the end we have dinner at The Plough. Love it here. Food is great and the pub is tidy. I would recommend you book to avoid disappointment.
Excellent food and excellent service. There were about 30 of us and each meal was served correctly and piping hot. Thanks to the efficient staff
Good selection of food and drink. Lovely seating area. Ample parking nearby. Food delivered within good time and presentation was lovely however the taste was a little bland. Customer experience was very good.
