Functional accommodation. No food. Very casual.
Rooms really small, shower was either really hot or really cold, asked for my money literally as soon as I got through the door arms laden with stuff. No parking had to park across the road, my room was by a busy road very noisy, decor needs alot of attention, beds were very low not good if you have a bad back. If it wasn't so late I would of tried to go elsewhere, but had a really upsrupset start to the day so just stayed.
No room to swing a cat. The room is not a proper room. It's a bedroom conversion. It would have been a small room anyway, but with the addition of a shower and toilet room it's really claustrophobic. The bed was comfortable but only one very thick pillow, which put my head at an awkward angle. I used the towels in desperation. The noise through the night was horrific, and when I did finally sleep I was woken up by the light coming in through the skylight. There was one cup and one glass between us. The room was dirty.There is a dated communal sitting area with a certificate of excellence in it. I can only think that either it's very old or fake. I wish we'd paid the extra and gone to Travelodge. Really, read the reviews on this hotel and go elsewhere.
