Dawn the hygienist is great
Very rude receptionist and staff will not be going back there
I've been attending Trinity Dental for 30+ years and always received great service from the dentists and hygienists. Last week I needed a broken filling replacing. I thought I would have to make a second appt for the process but Mr Elef was reassuring, put me at ease and completed the filling within minutes of my arrival with no fuss. Thank you.
I have been with Trinity Dental for about 8 years. The first few years were really good, and any work was completed with great care. However, over the last 2 years I noticed a steady decline. My dentist seems to have lost his 'mojo', sighs and huffs a lot, and sounds like he has been up against it for too long. Initially this wasn't a real problem, as I thought that if the work is good, then who cares. However, I had a filling, which after two days left me in the worst pain I have ever felt in my life, and after seeing another dentist as an emergency, they felt that there was an infection (not picked up at Trinity). On my re-visit to Trinity, he said that he still didnt feel there was an infection. Again, I gave him the benefit of doubt. A year later I needed 2 fillings. I sometimes have really bad responses to anasthetic, and explained this to my dentist, and he seemed pretty flippant about it, and looked like his mind was elsewhere. He carried out 2 fillings on this occasion.... I decided that enough was enough and went elsewhere recently. After x-rays, they showed me how my previous fillings (dont at Trinity) were not done particularly well and need replacing. They showed me the jagged edges which hook over the gum.... I wont be returning.
I have been a patient at this practice for a number of years and have always found the care & treatment I have received to be excellent . I originally joined the practice at the age of 16 when I was allowed to make my own choices for treatment having had bad experiences at my previous practice. I changed practice when my original dentist retired after a number of years, but soon returned after more problems elsewhere.
