Museum of transport in an old pumping station. Knowledgeable volunteers on each floor. Don't forget to see the well, it's impressive. The caf has good food.
Excellent place to go a real gem of a museum! The staff were so friendly and kind, really took an interest in my little boy. Loads to see definitely going for another visit.
A lovely place to visit... It has loads of old vehicles motorcycles, cars and even an old fire engine in its own fire station. There is even an ex British Rail Mk 2 coach housing the local model railway clubs 2 layouts
A great place to take children. I took my 10 yr grandson. He enjoyed the whole place especially using the typewriter and solving the code on the top floor.
