very very bad experience with this firm, even after 3 years of purchase, my property isn't yet registered.. why? because application was rejected, and they yet not clarify to me why.flats in same development and same blocks are already registered but not minerepeated enquiry and very delayed response with no clarity.
Very, very pleased with the service I received from B&W to remortgage my property. I contacted them in January, wanting to complete after 1st March so I wouldn't incur early repayment charges. We completed on 6 March which was perfect. I work within walking distance so was able to take paperwork into the office myself. Received prompt replies to my emails and everything went very smoothly. John Appleton was patient in answering all our questions with Lucie undoubtedly going above and beyond in making sure our transaction reached its completion stage as quickly as possible. We recently used Breeze & Wyles to sell our property. It was relatively stress free and I put that mainly down to Lucie Seaman, who continuously kept us updated every step of the way and would return any emails or calls almost instantly. Highly recommend.
We thought they were pretty average when we used them to buy our new Persimmon home. They were pretty bad at communicating, and were very difficult to get hold of most of the time. We heard that this was a common complaint about solicitors, so we weren't too worried.We are now selling that home, and are using a different solicitor who is so much better. Our new solicitor updates us with every bit of progress, answers the phone, and responds to emails the same day. This highlights how bad Breeze and Wyles were.Our new solicitor also asked us for lots of documents that should have been verified by Breeze and Wyles when we bought the property, but which weren't. Breeze and Wyles had not confirmed our warranty with NHBC, but we luckily were able to do this ourselves. They also didn't check we had a Gas Safety Certificate. We've now discovered that we never had one, and Persimmon have only just registered one with the Gas Safety Register now that we're chasing them for it. We tried to get hold of Breeze and Wyles first about getting these documents, but they told us the right department wasn't in, and would call us back. We haven't heard anything from them a month later.You expect your solicitor to know what to do, that's why you use one. You can't tell whether they've missed anything, because they're the experts. We're really angry that they had such bad customer service, and missed vital components of our purchase. I would not recommend.
